   Lea Roman is a Mexican American actress born and raised in California. Both her parents were actors within their community. She was born into theater. Her first “carry-on” role was at a few months old in ‘Auntie Mame’. She had her first starring role at 9 years old in a film called ‘Sidekick’.  Lea immediately fell in love and continued to work in theater throughout her teen years. At 27 years old, she returned to the stage for the production ‘Crimes of the Heart’, as Meg McGrath.  She won the Outstanding Female Performance Category at the Four Star Theater Awards.  

  In 2008 Lea earned a role for the sci-fi web series ‘Tales from the Underground’. Mako Pictures was impressed with her performance and she was asked back for 4 more webisodes. They also invited her to write and direct one of them titled ‘The Rules’. 

  Lea has continued to perform in theater and many independent films. She snatched up a role as Cindy in a feature film, the sci-fi thriller, ‘Vanished’, screened at the LA Indie Film Festival March 2014. She also showcased her work as Samantha Edwards in Neon Girl in 1953 at the Film Society in 2014. 

  Her most recent work, ‘PRND‘ and ‘Shadows of The Illicit’ were both filmed in 2018

  Earlier in her career, Lea was credited as Lea Baskas, her maiden name.
